Hey

I have a problem during the installation of kerio vpn client. I got the message you see here:

FIRST PICTURE
Translated in english it means:
Installer.app wants access rights to control systemsettings.app. With the permission to control, documents and data can be accessed in systemsettings.app and actions can be carried out in this app.

The installationprocess finished positive. After that, i open my systemsettings.app and the the Kerio VPN at bottom. But i cant open it (for configuration). It popups a error message:

SECOND PICTURE
Translatet in english it means:
Error in the system settings
The Kerio Control VPN client system setting could not be loaded

/index.php?t=getfile&id=5087&private=0

Do i need turn of SIP? Never do that for an application before. Or how can i fix this problem?

We have had same issue installing Control VPN client on a Mac. Control panel does not show option to authorise the installed app

As a workaround had to use IPSEC but would be good to get this resolved

With the CoronaVirus outbreak many companies are having to make sure users are able to work remotely making VPN ESSENTIAL at the moment

As the OS X Kerio Client installer is still flakey (ie does not install) I am having to use IPSEC

Not a massive issue but I would really prefer to use the client and not have IPEC available to deter attempted attacks

Please get this resolved ASAP

I found a solution for myself.

MacintoshHD -> Library -> Preferences -> SystemConfiguration

and delete all files in there. Clear the Trash, restart the Machine and reinstall Kerio VPN Client.

Download the latest version from Kerio VPN Client here: https://www.gfi.com/products-and-solutions/network-security- solutions/kerio-control/resources/other-downloads/vpn

Thats the only thing a do and it works now.

Just tried to setup 2x OSX 10.13 VPN Client using VPN Client 9.3.4 & 9.3.3

In both cases it looked like it is installed but when you open System Prefs and click on the VPN client System Prefs crashes

Had to install using IPSec but client not happy as it means this user cannot use 2FA

Is anyone @ GFI actually doing anything about this? The Corona pandemic was your chance to shine and you have blown it
