Kerberos config file (krb5.conf) should be automatically updated. When you demote old DC or promote new one, Kerberos config file is not updated and you end with nonfunctional AD authentication. To make it work again you need to leave and join AD again which is really anoying if you have for example tens of Kerio Controls in environment. Kerio should periodically check kdc servers in AD and aproppriatelly update Kerberos config file.
