I think the restrictions on the interface counts and names of the HA is a severe limitation on the success of the HA funtionality. I hope that this will be relax a little to allow more flexibiltiy for customers.
Points to consider HA implementations.
1. The rate of hardware improvements cycle is quite short and product updates released usually within a year.
2. Allows mix and match deployments e.g.
- physical and physical machines,
- physical and VM,
- VM and VM
