We moved from Exchange 2007 to Kerio 9.2.11 and I have to note that Outlook with KOF works very bad.
My mailbox size is about 30GB
I tried to setup Outlook 2019 - but it was freeze all the time during practically any operation, practically any search just killed the Outlook.
I tested 2016 and 2013 with same results.
Only Outlook 2010 works little better, but still much slower than 2010 with Exchange 2007 on the same mailbox.
The search still much slower that is was before. Outlook periodically freeze during send/receive process. I had have to empty cache twice till mailbox synchronized successfully. Unsuccessful sync means that KOF shows that all is OK and it idle, but Outlook shows messages for the last month, and from 2016 or 2017, without messages between these dates.
BTW - search on Web interface works acceptable.
So my question is the next. What is the best practice of Outlook usage with Kerio? How to manage it to work properly with Outlook 2019 and big mailbox (about 50GB that шы very normal now).
Is it possible to limit quantity of messages downloaded locally (I mean not attachments but whole messages, limit by date etc)
Is it possible to have instant search like in Exchange (instant search with chars typing, not by whole word after Enter)
