I attach a screenshot (sorry I have to grey out the names as they would reveal my client's company name).
In the Public Folders section, we see Contacts (where also the GAL contacts are shown), and two custom folders (starting with "a") below.
On the server side, these 2 folders appear to be actually subfolders of the store/mail/domain.com/#public/Contacts/ folder.
