Comparing pricing for Exchange and Kerio is useless. When you purchase a licence for exchange you get active sync for the life of exchange. With Kerio its 1yr ? in what world does that make sense. Activesync is open source. We use to be huge Kerio supporters but its getting to be nothing more then a money grab. With exchange you can have a 30-60GB mailbox or 1 Million messages per mailbox without an issue. With Kerio its 10GB or 10,000 items or it starts affecting EVERY user on the server. If you purchase 300 licenses for Kerio, you are stuck paying for the full 300 licenses of software maintenance even if you are only using 150. The only option is giving up the other 150 licenses that you have paid for. In its infancy Kerio was a great alternative but unfortunately that is no longer the case.
