I'm hoping someone here can help me - I'm recently getting lots of: Error when parsing SPF TXT record for domain: in my warning log from many different valid senders. So like a person should, I went to read about what SPF was and am I using it properly.
Where I got confused in the process is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_DNS_record_types lists SPF as basically being obsolete as of August 2013. I know you can't believe everything you read on the internet so I thought I would pose the question here and maybe someone can help me understand.
I've spent some time reading at openspf.org and nothing looks to have been updated there since 2012ish and I read somewhere else that there is a current proposal of something else to replace SPF.
This is now my brain -->
