Wildcards in local DNS lookup [message #148682]

There is an old topic (5 years old) titled "wildcards in DNS" in this forum.

Is there any changes on this front. Specifically, local DNS lookup, hosts table with wildcards. Simple *.development.example.com, instead of dev1.development.example.com, dev2.development.example.com,..... Adds a lot of flexibility, and also less work and better overview when managing Host table.
