After installing the most recent update of LanGuard (12.8 build 20221201), the 'htservice' is running wild; in that LanGuard creates more and more instances of this service over time. At the moment, there are about 600 (six hundred) instances running. That can't be right, so what to do to remedy this?

Hi Simon, you may find it helpful to gather troubleshooter logs from your GFI LanGuard server and submit a request to our Technical Support team!

I made a support request and it turned out to be a known problem with the Apache webserver. As a work-around you can downgrade the version of the webserver. If you create a support request, I guess they will supply you the same info I got?
