ello, up !

The roadmap and bugfixes have become very obscure.

What is exactly the problem actually ?
Why there is no trace about the 9.4.1 ?

We currently have Kerio Controls which have been updated to 9.4.1 and on which we don't even know whether to downgrade or not and which are difficult to maintain in the event of a breakdown (impossible to resume a configuration from a 9.4.1 to a 9.3.6.1!

The next release is still in Beta

The short version of the issue was one of speed

Best thing to do is to downgrade to 9.3.6p1

Hopefully the beta should be released soon

Over there, the last message about Control is from juli 25th.
This is the beta of 9.4.2 that was discussed in this forum.

After that - nothing.
This does not feel good ....

For me problem with load balancing, interfaces going offline with no reason.

Hello all,

The 9.4.2 is indeed available again since yesterday (10/11/2021).

Unfortunately the changelog is very little detailed (what do I regret the Kerio where everything was clear!).
New:
Kernel upgrade
2FA token expiration configuration for VPN
HTTP/S redirection in reverse proxy

Fixed:
Issues with Mac upload speed degradation
Updated IPSec VPN
Updated IPsec SNAT
WiFi authentication errors with Radius

Not a word about the bug of the high availability Shocked (and according to the post of walterzanella the bug is still here !).
Despite incensing increases in the price of Kerio the product continues to degrade and it's a shame, this firewall was for me one of the best solutions for SMBs.

But if nothing is done he will eventually lose his lead and his interest... And may be dying, to my great regret.

Please GFI be frank and sincere and tell us the truth about your problems and what is (or not) in your Roadmap!

I just installed it.

Previous version I ran was the 9.4.2 beta.

With the beta, I ran at Gigabit - max speed through the firewall to / from the internet was about 950 Mbit.
Now with the release, this is down to less than 300 Mbit.

Edit: And the the VPN's I ran (on the beta) with a speed of about 300 Mbit. With the release this is now down to 150 Mbit.
So again, a speed issue.

Could you please help with the previous 9.4.2 beta build number? Otherwise, the source of the download and datetime of the beta install can narrow down.
There were a couple of beta versions, and it will help us properly compare to the current release.

To give a complete picture:

9.3.6 and earlier were slow - max 300 Mbit internet (most of the time slower)
9.4.0 was blazing fast
9.4.1 was blazing fast
9.4.2 beta was blazing fast
9.4.2 release - back to the speed of pre 9.4
