Hi folks... apologies if this has been answered in previous posts - I've had a hunt around and can't find anything...
I'm wanting to add the public address list (GAL) to the MacOS contacts app manually - is this possible? I guess the bit I'm after is the server path - tried many options, none of which seem to work e.g. https://<mail_host_address>/carddav/users/<mail_domain)/.public/.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - going around in circles and getting nowhere fast.
Cheers,
Dave.

Dave,
I have an image someone posted here years ago.
You need to use an "Advanced" account type,
enter the account name (I use account<_at_>domain.com for servers where the domain is the primary one),
enter the password,
enter the server address, e.g. mail.domain.com,
then the server path is /carddav/users/domain.com/.public
There isn't a trailing "/" or anything else there.
Note that the domain you are connecting needs to be the primary domain on the server so people's "personal" contacts account can use just their account name (no <_at_>domain.com) as a manually configured account. I wish that Apple would fix the issue of not allowing two accounts with the same credentials but different paths. It's been a bug for 15+ years and I don't see it getting fixed any time soon.
Cheers,
Jon
