At least three times a week, I get a call/e-mail similar to this:

Quote:
I'm getting a huge delay on meeting notices being received on my phone but not on my computer for a good 1+hrs later. I also can't accept any meetings on my phone because they now don't get captured in my outlook calendar. Lastly When I view a meeting notice on my computer it doesn't show the time/date like it used to. I now have to read the text and pull my calendar up separate.
The device in question is an iPhone, but Android users complain as well. We are on KC9.4, user's outlook is on the latest KOFF. I do not know if this symptom shows up in Webmail/kerio client. Does anyone have any advice to remedy this? Is OutLook for iOS an option?

Bud,

I haven't upgraded any of my clients yet but Outlook.app running on iPhones and iPads hasn't synced the calendar properly for over 2 years now for me. It was fine until one of the updates to Outlook.app and has never been fixed. I have moved my users back to syncing with the built in Mail, Calendar and Contacts of the device. I am actively moving my clients to M365 as it works perfectly with the MS Apps (as it should) and the "New Outlook Experience" that is coming to Apple computers is also not compatible with KERIO Connect and MS is aggressively moving to this in the near future.

Sounds all to familiar. We've been having issues with delayed calendar syncing for years - it was noticed as especially tiresome and aggravating for PA kinda folk that were using macOS/iOS and felt like they couldn't rely on a change in a calendar being updated for their colleagues in a timely manner (basically instantly) and created a lot of double checking on their part. One of the reasons we gonna migrate calendaring away from Kerio...

Thanks for the feedback. Are the client using ActiveSync, or IMAP/CALDav?

We setup ActiveSync to client iPhone and iPad devices and will switch them over to CalDav in a few cases where they are having issues (had one user that complained of his devices sending out changes to events over and over so we moved him to CalDav which seemed to help)
