Problem found. A appointment invitation generated by our 3CX telephone system that crashes the Kerio Connect with 9.4.0. Reproducable so the GFI support can work on a solution.

We have the same problem with crashes and restarts.
Since we also have a 3CX in use, it would be great if you could give me some details on this. How to find out if a 3CX appointment is the problem and which appointment invitation it is?
Thanks a lot in advance!

If you create a "New Conference" with type "Video" and "When" later and you invite a Kerio Connect email recipient in "Email (Legancy, No RSVP)" then the Kerio Connect process crashes.
Send such a meeting invitation and you can see in /var/log/syslog the segmentation fault of the mailserver process.

3CX issue wich I can confirm. After upgrading from 9.3.1p1 to 9.4.0, 3CX invitations (we use Audio, but seems to be both Audio and Video) generate a crash of the Kerio Connect Server.
The bad part: it crashes even if the Invitation comes from the 3CX SMTP Server (from: noreply<_at_>3cx.net) to a recipient with Kerio Connect 9.4.0.
In conclusion, if you want to crash someones Kerio Konnect 9.4.0 Server, simply send him a 3CX invitation...
This is not tolerable.
I have now to downgrade two Servers from 9.4.0 to 9.3.1p2 - or - Kerio has a fix.
I reportet this already to my distributor, but they want a support agreement (which is not included in the SaaS licenses) for further investigation.
But it seems to be a serious GFI/Kerio issue.
I mean... crashing an E-Mail server with just an 3CX invitation is another level of bug, and I hope there are no malevolent actors around.

"I'm going to test the generic "calendar" issue when upgrading a Mac system to BS or Monterey where all the subscribed calendars no longer show names just "calendar" for everyone."
Tested earlier this weekend and it is indeed fixed! When you update a system that is using Apple Calendar .. then names now carry over after the upgrade!

Upgraded over the weekend. Server running Debian 10. No issues other than a handful of users that never, ever close their OutLook, which is par for the course. In some cases the only remedy is to remove the user's mail profile, uninstall KOFF, reboot, re-install KOFF, recreate the profile.

MacOS Kerio server, was running 9.3.1p1 (had previously tried 9.3.1p2 but that broke full text search).
A few days after upgrading to Kerio Connect 9.4, all old events created by the Zoom app disappeared from macOS Calendar app for all users (configured by CalDAV), but they are still visible on web. Those using Outlook with Exchange ActiveSync have no issues.
Downgraded to 9.3.1p1, and the old events reappeared.
Because the issue didn't happen immediately (it took almost two days for the events to disappear en masse), I think there might be an issue between Kerio Connect 9.4 and the version of the Zoom app (5.9.3) that was released the same day that the events disappeared. Not sure they mechanisms for that (does Zoom app continually connect to macOS Calendar app?), but it's just weird that the issues didn't come up immediately.

Running Kerio Connect 9.4 and are now experiencing trouble with deleting email from a public folder.
When deleting with an administrator account, no error message pops up, it just won't delete. If you double-click on the email, so it opens in a pop-up windows, you can delete it.
When trying to delete from the public folder with a normal account (still has ownership rights on the public folder) the following error message pops up (see screenshot)
Anyone having the same problems? Or found a fix for it?

Tried to update 2 days ago, which failed badly for us.
Had no email access for 1 day.
No incoming emails was able to be processed and all logs disappeared from web portal.
Tried to roll back to 3.9.1 p1 which made issue worst with web portal inaccessible and mailserver crashing endless every 10 sec.
Required L2 tech support to help solve the issue, took 3hr on zoom and phone call, very late night.
Update from KC 9.3.1p1 to 9.4
MacOS 10.15.7
Seems 9.4 update maybe more strict on permission of mailserver directory containing the cfg files and the store directory containing email data & logs.
Suggest any old MacOS installs which have been updated from earlier OS versions and earlier KC versions, check they have correct system permissions and full disk access setup correctly, to avoid any update issue's.
Quickly thank L1/L2 tech support for patience in working out all issue's.
Suggest GFI publish a more detail tech note on mac permission requirements.
