Hi,

If you use Outlook on Mac you may have been in the know of the Search fiasco with OS 12.1. In short, search in outlook does not work, rendering it essentially useless. There's a bunch at the Microsoft communities trying different things until Apple and Microsoft stop blaming each other and someone fixes it. In the meantime, one thing we're trying is alternate clients.

There's one called "EM Client" that many swear by, but it won't connect to our KC Server. I keep getting

"11:30:47 AM K2 Exchange [Exchange Web Services] MailClient.Accounts.ConnectionException: An item with the same key has already been added. Key: {key redacted} ---> System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. Key: {key redacted}"

(Hopefully obviously, the '{key redacted}" thing is in reality a very very long key ... I just don't think it's good to publish it here for my own paranoid reasons)

Anyway, I have Outlook on the same machine and it works fine, and cannot tell if this is en error from the EM CLIENT App or if it's reporting an error from the server. The debug log (I turned on Authentication logging briefly) does not show this error. When I set up the account in Em Mail I tell it it's connecting to an exchange server. It seems to work somewhat: I get the names of Contact and Resource Lists (no contacts load though), so something is connecting at some level.

Anyone get a client besides Outlook for KC Client to work on Mac?

Thanks,

Jeff

I can't speak to Mac, but on Windows I did a manual configuration of the mail account for IMAP/SMTP, and separate CardDAV/CalDAV connections for calendar & contacts. Seems to be working.
