So after many almost trouble free years of running Kerio Connect on a number of versions of CentOS Linux from v5 I am looking where to migrate to. I am thinking of trying Oracle's distribution as it is said to be very similar to the RHEL distribution and is free of charge if no support is required.
I am just wondering if others have made their choices and what they were.

I've moved to AlmaLinux. RHEL compatible, built, like CentOS, from Red Hat source.
Sponsored by CloudLinux, which is, itself, a RHEL clone.
I've been happy with it, but I'm not a hard-core Linux guy, so I can't tell you for certain that it's better than Oracle or any other option.
The Alma team has one interesting tool they are working on. A way to upgrade from major version to major version (e.g. 7.x to 8.x) of RHEL-based distros.

When you are ready to migrate to 365, I'd recommend these tools:
IMAPsync (https://imapsync.lamiral.info/) for flawless e-mail migration.
Sumatra kCalReader for calendars, contacts, tasks & notes (https://sumatra.com/ and https://calendarservermigration.blogspot.com/2021/10/kerio-m ail-contacts-and-office-365.html) Fabulous experience with this team. 100% fidelity on the migration. I stumbled on them back in July and they worked to get to that 100%-lots of little bits of weirdness in calendar events that they found and dealt with.
