Hi,
trying to install a GFI archiver trial, I was 99% sure the client will buy it but now I'm not sure GFI is still in business:
Can't use the free trial signup form, can't reach https://upgrades.gfi.com/ (certificate invalid, nginx 404), https://www.gfi.com/products-and-solutions/network-security- solutions/gfi-archiver/download and https://www.gfisoftware.de/products-and-solutions/network-se curity-solutions/gfi-archiver/download links time out. The download from http://cdndl.gfi.com/archiver_x64.exe works but trying to install it also times out, because (I assume) the installer tries to phone home.
So, is GFI still in business?
If not, before this forum goes down, what do you guys recommend as alternative? I basically need to archive ~50 Kerio Connect mailboxes and then continue archiving them after I moved them to Microsoft 365.
Thanks!

Edit: Don't bother reading my rant.
They sent me an expired trial license, I got my hands on a new one that seems to work now.
So after waiting hours the installer finally worked.
I installed the latest version on a Win 2019 Std server, connected it to a newly created instance on my SQL 2019 Std server (tcpip enabled, mixed auth, used sa account) and it tells me everything is set up. Then it tells me there are 0 Archive Stores configured (restarted service and server).
I created a journaling mailbox in my Kerio Connect and mails are delivered there, but not picked up by Archiver.
I dumped my Kerio archive from November into the pickup folder after renaming them to *.Q as per the manual (~1500 files). 650 files are left, the queue folder contains 3500 files, nothing moves. No CPU load, no network traffic, 30mins wait time.
Also, when I enter my trial license key I have just received the feedback is confusing. First it tells me the trial is activated, unlimited, but only for 19 active users (?), when I click Finish it tells me the license has expired. Watch this screen video: https://streamable.com/3znj16
"Thy the new UI" button won't let me authenticate with my active directory admin I could log on to the old UI with.
WTF. Am I doing something wrong or is this just bad software? I remember it being slow af from a couple of years ago, but at least it worked somehow.
