when I add a new article to the knowledgebase and try to publish the mouse keeps rotating and no result.

first you have run the SQL script available on GFI website to change the URL from local host to the desired URL.
make sure to include the full text including the last slash "/" after support.
example: https://yourdomainpath/support/

in my case I missed the last slash accordingly the desired web part was not accessible.
