Hello,

after upgrading/moving Kerio Connect to new Linux version Instant messaging is broken. XMPP(S) services don't start.

warning.log
[21/Jul/2020 17:29:57] IM external process is not responding or is not running, closing all client sessions...
[21/Jul/2020 17:29:57] Corrupted IM external process stopped
[21/Jul/2020 17:29:57] IM external process is not responding or is not running, trying to start it again...

im.log
[21.07.2020 17:29:58][main][WARN ] o.e.j.s.h.ContextHandler<_at_>563e4951{/,null,null} contextPath ends with /* server.handler.ContextHandler

What I did:
- installed new Linux server (Debian 10)
- installed Kerio Connect trial version (to resolv all dependencies)
- replaced contents of /opt/kerio/mailserver with files from the old server (was Debian 7 or 8)

All services except instant messaging working fine.

Kerio connect os latest version 9.2.12 patch 1 (5027)
Linux is uptodate.

Cleaning the XMPP folder (support.kerioconnect.gfi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015197419 ) did not help.

Any ideas?

Be sure your loop back device is accessible. Maybe you need a firewall rule to allow input from lo.
