Hi

We regularly receive emails from our sister company which contain attachments that are needed, but get blocked in the attachment filtering rule.
it would save me quite a lot of time if we could add external senders to the bypass list as well as internal users

You can set up a Whitelist policy for attachments: https://support.mailessentials.gfi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360 015116360
This article refers to "password protected files" only but works for any filter of the decompression filter.
I assume it's working for any files types too.

Thanks for the reply,but that would be fine if i wanted to allow all attachments of a certain type to a particular domain user, but what i want to do is allow the attachment if it is from a particular external sender, that isn't in the domain. I don't have the option to do that
