Hello GFI-Team!

First of all, thanks for the great support!

As I was informed by the support, not all forms of PDFs are recognized Confused

I can partly understand that, because an image cannot be read out or not without additional means (such as OCR).

BUT the PDFs I create (in my case with the Sage 100) are not just pictures, but also contain text information.
When I open the PDFs in Adobe Reader, the text is recognized perfectly, it can be marked, read out and copied into another document or editor.
I can use Ctrl + A to capture and copy the entire text content. The text is recognized and adopted 100% correctly.

I am not an expert in programming and just a user... but for me and the Sage Support it is incomprehensible why GFI cannot read it.
Unfortunately, in combination with Sage, the GFI FaxMaker is unusable until the day that PDFs with text content are recognized.
As an example, I have added a PDF as an attachment here.

Best regards and stay healthy! Smile

A small supplement.

If a free open souce tool like DocFetcher can read the text from the "image-based" pdfs, then a paid, professional software like GFI should do the same.

So it can't be difficult to do that.

Thanks and Regards
