we have the same problem.
KOFF works very slowly with big size mailboxes.
Outlook x64 did not solve the problem.
We could disable KOFF but what then is the advantage of Kerio Connect?

Did you enable downloading of the full message and to include all sub folders in the folder synchronization settings? Right click on the account name, go to data file properties, click on the folder synchronization tab and choose to download the full message and check the box to include all sub folders. That will enable a full sync of the entire account, not just headers and outlook won't have to reach out to the server for simple tasks such as scrolling and jumping around folders, etc.
