Regarding System Preferences crashing when the Kerio VPN client is opened, all I have to offer is a "me too."
However only 1 system out of about 40-50 is doing it. I don't know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised to find it's a Catalina system.

Here is what worked for me:
Create a new user on the Mac with Admin privileges
Log in as the new user and install the VPN Client
Reboot
Login as original user and Kerio VPN Preference pane works as normal

keep getting same error: could not load kerio control vpn client preference pane
I have tried, termina (sudo launchctl load com.kerio.kvpncsvc.plist) = no luck,
removing the all files from Macintosh/Library/Preferences/SystemConfig... and restarting the machine and reinstalling = No luck
Also create a new user uninstalled kerio on original user, log in the new user and installed Kerio, and it works fine, but when i go back to the original user same error = no luck (That confirms that problem is not with Catalina Version 10.15.4 (19E287))
Tried reinstall several version of Kerio Control = no luck
Anyone can HELP please, with COVID-19, We really need this working.

I keep receiving the error "Could not load kerio Control VPN Client preference pane."
My macOS is Catalina ver. 10.15.6 on a brand new MacBook Air 2020
I've tried both the current kerio-control-vpnclient-9.3.4-3795-mac.dmg and the beta kerio-control-vpnclient-9.3.5-4217-b2-mac.dmg
I've also tried all of the suggestions listed in martio158's quote below.
Any additional suggestions? I really need to get this working if possible.

I've been setting up a lot of brand new Macs lately, and this happens with about half of them.
The only solution I can get to consistently work is to uninstall the software, create a new user account, and install from there.
Which is a big speed bump in deploying boxes to users. Instead of a 1 minute process, I have to waste 1/4 hour or more on this rigmarole on each affected box.
