Good morning,
I have office365 mailbox-
I set the configuration parameters in the "mailserver" mask and when I try to send a test message I am notified of this error "failed to send the test email! il server SMTP richiede una connessione protetta oppure il client non è stato autenticato. La risposta del server 5.7.52 SMTP; Client was mpt authenticated to send anonymous mail during mail droP PR0P264CA0158.FRAP264.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM"

Hi

This is because Office 365 requires TLS1.2+ and this is not being used by EventsManager.

The solution is to install IIS on the same windows machine and relay emails through it to Office 365. INstructions are here: https://www.gfi.com/support/products/how-can-you-use-iis-to- route-messages-to-a-mail-server-that-requires-tls-encryption
