Hello, I am a newby here and i have some problems with a kerio NG500 in combination with a Unifi switch.

On the Kerio NG500 there are three 4G pepwaves on the WAN poort and one VSAT on the WAN poort. this is working fine.

The kerio is connected to a 48 port Unifi switch and there are LAN users (directly connnected to the switch) and 19 AP the Unifi HD PRO.

The problem is that they want to do the User and Guest control on the Kerio. so they must get the Captive portal when they login to the network.

This is not working for the WLAN users but it works for the LAN users wich are connected to the same switch. i try to change the port number from the unfi switch that is forwarding to external portal server but still the same problem.

some one that can help me please?

kind regards rene

Hi

Can you explain a bit more your network, from where are your WLAN users coming from? Do you have a Unifi Access Point? Is it connected to the Unifi Switch?

Thanks the setup makes sense.

What is the gateway of the WLAN client? Is it the Kerio NG500? Also is the Gateway for Lan identical to WLAN?

From what you are describing the LAN and WLAN users are identical and for Kerio Control, it should not make any difference.

I suggest to reach out to GFI Support for further assistance
