Hi community and Kerio developer team,

I just had an interesting conversation with your support team about a topic that is worthwhile sharing and could be of great value to Kerio customers for future versions. I would love to see this implemented and I believe many customers could benefit from these functions.

Currently in Kerio, when you share folders with other coworkers or cooperate in a central mailbox, there is only the option to choose between 3 predefined permission statuses for different users: Owner, Editor and reader:

Specify the rights for each user you share the folder with:

Reader -- Users can only see the messages.
Editor -- Users can add, delete, and edit messages.
Owner -- Users can set sharing as well as add, delete and edit messages.

However, in many cases there would be the need to use customized permissions, for example if you want people to be able to write and read E-Mails but you might not want them to be able to add, delete or move folders or delete items. In Outlook for example, there is a standard way for this configuration with some predefined standard roles, but also the option to customize the permissions in a menu like in the screenshot I attached.

I hope you find this feature as useful as I do and would love to see it included in future updates!
