Hallo
My Situation: Windows 7 with Control 7.2 ( old machine )
Windows 10 new machine
I have saved my config files from my old control 7.2 ( 1 x manuell and 1 x with kerio assistent )
My next step was
installing my control 7.2 with my original install files on the windows 10 machine, but does not start with the error massage ( cant install driver )
Perhaps it is better to install Kerio 8 and import config ?
But i dont find on the new gfi server a windows version from control 8 x 64 - or i am blind ? only vmware and linux etc.
What is the best way to install a actuelly control mit my config on windows 10
thanks , and excuse my bad english

Hi, I solved the problem as well. 7.2 not work on W10. You must use some hypervisor. Try hyper-v in W10. You can make VHD image from you old system and run it under hyper-v as host. Or buy a new version KerioControl and run it as appliance under hyper-v. Version 7.xx is last one, that runs as windows application. The newer version is only running under the Linux kernel.
In any case, you need a hypervisor. (hyper-v, wmware, virtualbox, kvm, or some else).
If you choice VHD options, you dont need migration configurations. You just continue run old system.
But if you want to use new version, you need to do some steps for migrations config.
https:// manuals.gfi.com/en/kerio/control/content/installation-kerio- control/upgrade-center-7.html
Point is, that you must export settings from version 7, apply version 8 as clear instalation on new machine, import configurations from version 7 and after that upgrading to version 9. Version 9 can not import configuration from version 7 directly.
If you need help with some steps, we are here ...

Hi Malina
Thanks for your answer , now I have it running standalone on a asus board , i install control 7 and import my config , update to 8 and now to 9.3. All runs perfectly ( i hope so ). I also tested it in VM Ware under W10 - but I think standalone is better and eaysier for me.
thanks
