Now that IKEv2 has been announced in 9.3.0, I am curious if anyone knows how to enable and configure it. All I see is "enable via console" in the release notes, but no details in the Administration Guide. I'd also like if somebody could confirm that enabling it does not break existing IKEv1 connections.

I need IKEv2 to create a Route-based VPN connection to Azure.

From support, this is how you enable IKEv2 currently:

1. Log in to Kerio Control via SSH . Follow the procedure mentioned here
2. Go to /var/winroute
3. Nano winroute.cfg
4. Scroll down to table "Firewall"
5. <table name="Firewall">
<variable name="IKEVersion">ikev1</variable>
Change the above-highlighted value to ikev2.
The configuration now looks like
<variable name="IKEVersion">ikev2</variable>
6. Save the configuration
