Failure to connect to the internet with a VPN is often caused by firewalls, blocked ports, outdated VPN software, or simply a failure of your router. Make sure that your firewall allows for use of the VPN, that your VPN software is updated, and that the right ports aren't blocked.

Same here. I've upgraded one of the customers' NG100W from 9.4.0 to 9.4.2. The box got bricked, so I collected a machine, an SSD and a network card from the garbage and I have put a new firewall of 9.4.2 together from a fresh install. I uploaded the saved configuration, so inside the office everything is the same. This box can even connect to my firewall (also 9.4.2) through VPN tunnel.
I have upgraded the VPN client on my notebook to 9.4.2. I can connect to my own firewall (from the internal network, to tell the truth), but I cannot connect to the customer's firewall, because "the VPN server is not responding".
Again, it is the very same configuration as worked earlier, including keys, traffic rules, DDNS settings, etc. The remote side can be pinged, and also the VPN tunnel is connected to it. What can be wrong?

What was "wrong" is the MAC address of the WAN interface, so the router of the internet provider filtered out Kerio VPN port. I've put the firewall into the DMZ of the router and it works again.
