Anyone Else having issues installing the 9.2.9 VPN Client? I get errors on both machines I have tried so far. Tried Rebooting with no change.

ERROR 28201. Failed to install VPN device driver. Command:
UPDATE. Action: LookupDevice. Result: E_UNEXPECTED
,device is already registered.

Figured I would uninstall the old one but it no longer is listed in programs for uninstall.

Only thing weird I noticed is even though I am installing the 64bit client it wants to install to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kerio".

I have same problem, solved when followed the below steps

Step 1
Install this version of Kerio Control VPN Client 9.2.3

32-bit http:// cdn.kerio.com/dwn/control/control-9.2.3-2219/kerio-control-v pnclient-9.2.3-2219-win32.exe
64-bit http:// cdn.kerio.com/dwn/control/control-9.2.3-2219/kerio-control-v pnclient-9.2.3-2219-win64.exe

Step 2
Download the Kerio VPN Recovery tool http://psg.gfi.com/Kerio/Control/KerioVPNRecovery.zip
Unzip the file and Run the KerioVPNRecovery.exe as Administrator
You should see Done in MS-DOS Window
DO NOT remove Kerio Control VPN Client 9.2.3

Step 3
Install the latest version of Kerio Control VPN Client

Good luck Smile

Well I no longer get that error, but now it gets stuck on "Starting Services", just hangs. Also can not start service manually.

Disable any AV running on the machine.
Download an older version like 9.2.1 and install it.
Run the VPN recovery tool as Admin.
Once done, you should now be able to install 9.2.9

Hi, I have problem too - but install stops immediately with "wizard was interrupted". It is for Windows XP.
Last functional installer is 9.2.2, all newer installers stop with the same error at the same point. On several XP machines.
VPN recovery tool stops with "not valid Win32 app".

So, is Windows XP still supported OS for VPN client ?

I had 9.2.1 installed and attempted to run the cleaner - as administrator, on windows 10.

It failed with a message indicating that C:\Windows\System32\drivers\kvnet.sys could not be created, or something to that effect.

The fix to this was: I turned off automatic launch of Kerio at startup within task manager, restarted, renamed kvnet.sys to kvnet_old, then re-ran the cleaner. This then ran successfully and allowed me to install 9.2.9.
