After updating to 9.2.8 (Debian) I discovered a strange thing that in some emails in I can see no attachements anymore in outlook.
This in 2013, 365 and 2019.
If I use webmail and open the same email the attachements are there.
This is on different clients, tried to re-installing KOFF but no solution.
If i use Outlook and Microsoft Active Sync i also see the attachements.
Also cleared the cache on the clients.

In the attachements is a pdf document included.
If i send the same mail with the attachement in Kerio Webmail to the same account and we download it with outlook i see the attachement but the original mail is still without attachement in outlook.
Strange

I don't mean to thread-jack but I wanted to add my own experience with this issue.
Our payroll service's automated emails, with PDF reports attached, do not show the attachment in Outlook 2016. The attachments CAN be seen in webmail, on mobile devices and in the Connect app. Other PDFs are getting through with no issue. Further, the attachments from payroll come through if first sent to another email, like gmail, and then forwarded to our office domain.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for contacting GFI Support. My name is ****** and I will be assisting you with this case.
Our Development team is aware of this issue and the fix will be included in version 9.2.9 which is scheduled to be released by the end of March 2019.
The current workaround is to downgrade KOFF to a lower version.

Hi,
to clarify, version 9.2.8 p1 from January 31. (release notes: PDF attachments are missing in KOFF 9.2.8.) does not fix the problem?
We tested this version with one client and PDF attachements from a specific sender are still not shown.

I see that there is a notification that this issue is due to be solved in v 9.2.9 due release at the end of this month but...
I want to double check that what my users are seeing is related to this and therefore most likely fixed by this next release.
KC mail server is patched to 9.2.8 p1 running on Mac OSX Server
Mail clients are Outlook 2016 for Mac, ver 16.22 and ver 16.23 (as of this morning).
For a while now (pre the KC mail server patch), some (not all) emails received from external sources that have attachments do not forward correctly/completely when forwarded internally. Some or all attachments disappear in the forwarded email both on sending and receiving sides, though Outlook displays the paperclip to show that there are attachments.
I've only had reports of .jpg and .ai file attachments going missing so far.
View this forwarded email in any other mail client (mail.app, thunderbird, Outlook 2011 for Mac) or through KC webmail and the attachments are visible.
I can also see the attachments if I view the forwarded email's source (open it in textedit and search for the attachment name), so it 'seems' that for what I'm seeing, Outlook is 'hiding' the attachments.
From what I've detailed above, do you think my users are experiencing the same problem here and will the fix work for the file formats I'm mentioned too?
