Hi
I have KC running at my home with 7 users and about 150 devices. My configuration:
Firewall:
192.168.1.254
DHCP enabled
DHCP Parameters to clients:
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.254
DNS Server: 192.168.1.254
domain name: ruppen.home
Lease time: 1 day
My server, NAS and home automation devices get fixed IP addresses from the DHCP server.
Now my problem: I want to ping any device in my home network by it's name but teh DNS server doesn't resolte it. A ping ny name is only after I pinged the device by it's IP address first
I read the Kerio manual but still struggle to configure the firewall and DHCP server accordingly. Is there an example setup which I can use?
Thanks in advance
Daniel
