Hey there,
I have installed a NG300 with 9.2.4 and the Update-Check failed all the time:
[03/Jan/2018 17:32:22] (2) Product update failed. Error: Check failed (reminders not set or server error!)
The Internet Access is fine, also the virus update works. The check for updates is enabled.
Does anyone has an idea about the reason, or what to check?
Thanks, Guenter

The problem is still not solved.
GFI/Kerio support told me that there was an outage on one of the European data centers Update server.
I can't believe that there is a outage for more than a week without a failover and I have some other installations without this problem.
This is not a big problem, but should be solved by support.
Lets wait for the next update, and give it a try.

Colleagues! Are there any problems on the IPS and GEO-IP update servers? I have logs:
31/Jan/2018 08:26:25] GeoIP database update check failed: Server returned '(200) 200:Temporary error, please try again later'.
[31/Jan/2018 08:36:23] (2) Product update failed. Error: Check failed (SSL certificate problem: Invalid certificate verification context)
[31/Jan/2018 08:38:18] IPS rules update check failed: Server returned '(200) 200:Temporary error, please try again later'.

I have also opened a ticket to GFI.
But I found a problem:
Checking certificate chain *.kerio.com | COMODO RSA Organization Validation Secure Server CA | COMODO RSA Certification Authority | AddTrust External CA Root
[31/Jan/2018 11:10:33] {update_checker} Failed to verify SSL certificate: (10) certificate has expired
When Kerio Appliance tries to connect "prod-update.kerio.com", server name configured to TLS server verificator!
A certificate of *.kerio.com has expired 04/12/17 2:59.
Waiting for GFI support to renew a certificate. It's terrible! More than a month ago.

Judging from how long it is taking to restore normal service and how few people are complaining about it in this forum, either there are very few users of Kerio Control or this problem is affecting a very small number of users.

My biggest problem is that the web filter is not activated and is not filtering anything. I can live without the updates for a while but not without the filter.
