Hi
we use dozens uf onsite kerio installations for our customers.
since last few months we are a little bit insecure, because we dont know what really goes on with kerio connect.
is there somewhere a roadmap or similar where we can see where you're way will going to in coming time? is there a releasedate for the next majorrelease?
thanks

Hi yes, we had a roadmap session just last week, and I'll share some of that here.
As with any roadmap information, all features and dates in the roadmap are subject to change.
The recording of the live roadmap session can be found here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/recording/32349922916354119 70
The recording mentions licensing changes for Kerio Connect, and this is no longer applicable. Licensing changes will not be happening in the time frame mentioned in the webinar, but will be sometime later. We'll make sure we communicate in good time for that. Please also contact your distributor, who we are talking to about all upcoming roadmaps.
Roadmap for Kerio Connect over the next 12 to 18 months or so ...
- Kerio Connect customers who have used the product over a year will be able to get one GFI Software product for free (for example, customers have been asking us about GFI Archiver)
- Unified Communications. We will be bringing together functionality from Kerio Connect and Kerio Operator to build a seamless communications experience
- We plan to do some Kerio Connect client updates - including sorting messages by date, new functionality for signatures, and message threading.
- We plan to make improvements to the message database, making it much faster
- We plan to look at the most requested feature from UserVoice, which is the ability to rename users (for marriage or divorce name changes)
- We plan to update OneConnect so that it can provide email continuity for Kerio Connect

This would be so awesome!

My private takeaways:
Heather P (Kerio) wrote on Wed, 09 August 2017 10:47- Kerio Connect customers who have used the product over a year will be able to get one GFI Software product for free (for example, customers have been asking us about GFI Archiver)
Meh; no mention of discounted license pricing past the first year. I may be interested if GFI Archiver has an outlook plugin that actually works.
Quote:- Unified Communications. We will be bringing together functionality from Kerio Connect and Kerio Operator to build a seamless communications experience
- We plan to do some Kerio Connect client updates - including sorting messages by date, new functionality for signatures, and message threading.
So, nothing new for you if you are one of the 70% business people in the world that use Outlook. Still the same slow, buggy plugin
Quote:- We plan to make improvements to the message database, making it much faster
Mostly a welcome improvement, as long as they choose an industrial strength dbms like mySQL, MS/Sql, or Postgres for the message store, and not something meant for small data sets. Some of us have message stores measured in Terabytes
Quote:- We plan to look at the most requested feature from UserVoice, which is the ability to rename users (for marriage or divorce name changes)
It only took half a dozen years.
