I'm trying to enable tracking of the Kerio Anti-Spam (KAS) operations in the debug log.

The options for Spam Filter, SpamAssassin Processing and KAS Procession are all checked under the Content Filter section. I'm not seeing any entries for KAS in the log. I do see entries tagged "{spamassassin}" and "{spam} Spam Filter", but no entries with "{spam} Kerio Anti-spam".

What should I see in the log regarding KAS?

I've verified in both the dashboard and Spam Filter/KAS tab that KAS is enabled.

I'm not blocking the servers to which KAS needs to connect.

I'm open to suggestions as to why I'm not seeing KAS do anything and what I may need to fix.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jon

If "Kerio Anti-spam Processing" debug messages are enabled, your Connect instance is licensed to use the Kerio Anti-spam extension, and spam rating and Kerio Anti-spam is enabled in the Spam Filter settings, you should see either that incoming mail is processed with Kerio Anti-spam, e.g.
[06/May/2016 12:04:44][5828] {kerioantispam} Kerio Anti-spam scans message 'C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\store/queue/1d/572c6c10-00000000.eml'.

or you should see repeated attempts to download files that are required to access the anti-spam service (see this message for more details).

I'm not seeing either of these messages in the debug log.

I've grepped both the active and archived logs and find no entries tagged with "kerioantispam".

Do you have suggestions on where I can start digging to figure out what's happening?

Are there other messages I should enable in the debug log?

I'll restart the server later tonight to see if a clean restart will resolve.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jon

Restart of server seems to have cured the problem-debug log is now showing KAS messages.
