The question is a bit misleading and many informations are missing.

1. What do you use with Windows 7? The Kerio Connect Server itself (BAD IDEA)? The Client? Outlook Offline Kerio Connect? The Online Site?
2. Tell us a bit about how your network is build (server, clients, current config etc.)

On windows 7 we use Outlook 2010 with the Kerio Outlook Offline Kerio Connect.

The Kerio Server is v 8.0.0 v639. (running on Windows 7)

On the new windows 10 client, it has the same version of outlook and connecting to the same server.

I am not sure what you say bad idea for the Kerio server on Windows 7? It works flawlessly on Windows 7 and has done for years although the original question relates to the client access.

To the main question - AFAIK it should run on Windows 10, but 8.0.0 was released before Windows 10, so no guarantees and no support from kerio itself of course. Server Version and client was running on Windows 8.0 and/or 8.1 (server 2012/r2), so 10 should be theoretically no problem.

I usually like to give additional advice. First of all you should really get the kerio maintenance. It's really cheap and you have the lastest security updates and functions. ESPESCIALLY the security fixes. Check http://forums.kerio.com/t/27043// if you at least put the security patch for heartbleed to use. That's quite important. And the attachment filter they added for zip files in a later patch works like a charm against 85% of all virus/trojan mails, without the virus scanner even needs to get active.

For Windows 7 as server OS .... there's a reason MS has a server OS and you're not allowed to run a service on Windows 7 for a company. That's on the legit licence side. You also need the Windows CAL (Client access licence) for each user or device (depending how you deploy).

Not to mention the Server OS is different on a technical side and is way better secured. Also more connections are allowed, you can deploy an Domain and Active Directory for enhanced security etc. pp.

You might take a look at server 2012 r2 essentials, supports up to 25 users without additional licensing, has specialised client software and it's easy to set up.

Also I hope the Windows 7 Server you use, runs on a raid 1 at least, in case a hdd fails.

Does anyone know if Windows 10 does work, someone must have tested it. I do not want to rely on any assumptions. Thanks.

Kerio Outlook Connector 8.5.2 has been tested with Windows 10. For older Kerio Outlook Connector versions no such testing was performed so we cannot say for sure that it can work with versions lower than 8.5.2.
