I am trying to install the puppet master but the install always ends with an error message "Could not find a suitable provider for mysql_user
err: Could not find a suitable provider for mysql_database
info"

I have looked through the install log and I keep seeing failure messages referring to galera_mariadb_repo

Yeah, I got something similar trying to set up the KC-MS 9.0 beta. Screen shot attached. This time I was careful to make sure there was a DHCP reservation defined for the VM's network card before I started the VM. It had an IP address with unfettered access to anywhere on the internet.

This product is SO not ready for prime time.

Thank you Bud. I just tried doing that and wound up with the same result. I have also tried upping the memory and number of processors. It's very frustrating. There just aren't any FAQs or ways to know if you need to change any configuration or open firewall ports.

I finally managed to get all the servers installed without errors. I had to install them on a VMWare host I have in Germany and migrate them to our office in California. Once again, an installation FAQ that says which ports need to be open to allow installation would be nice.
