Puppet Master Setup Error [message #122398]

I'm trying to deploy 8.5.1 multi-server in my test environment. I get the link from the downloads page, start the deploy OVF template in the end of puppet master showing the error please find the attachment.

Is IP address of the puppetmaster server one that can get out to the internet? Since the appliance does not allow for any basic reconfiguring before it starts it's setup, you need to make sure that the VM will get an IP address that is allowed out to the internet. For us, that meant opening the VM's settings and getting the MAC address, then assigning a reservation in out DHCP server prior to powering the appliance VM up for the first time.

Hi Durland,

Thanks For quick replay yes puppetmaster server can get out to the internet after restart the puppet master server and run puppet agent -t commend it is show some other error Please see the attachment.

This issue is caused by the time difference. VMware host sets time app. 5:15 ahead of NTP (this can be also seen on the screenshot where it says that run took negative value of -18844.45). Installation is interrupted because certificate is not valid when it has future creation value. Either VMware host or NTP is wrong, no matter of timezones.
