Working through a Kerio Multi-Server deployment in our lab and so far so good.
One thing that isn't clear to me is if I need additional steps to backup the Kerio Directory Server role.
If I run 'slapcat -l blah.ldif' on the Directory Server I get an LDIF but that LDIF is pretty sparse as I see entries for the top OU, cn=admin, ou=Users, and ou=Groups (the last three as a part of a full DN).
If I look at our Active Directory I see a couple of Kerio attributes for each user which makes sense.
Do I need a specific bind DN to connect to Directory Server in order to backup all of the attributes or is the non-authenticated LDIF I am generating enough as part of the items needed are in this file, part are in Active Directory, and part are in the backup of each Back-End Server?
Paranoia on my part but not being paranoid is a sucker's bet in IT.
