Hi,

Any good / effective internet blacklist recommend ? Paid or free is ok.

I have lower down Tag score to 2 and block score to 4. But still receiving a lot of spam emails.

Currently I have:

zen.spamhaus.org
dnsbl.sorbs.net
rhsbl.sorbs.net
db.wpbl.info
bl.spamcop.net
b.barracudacentral.org

Thank you.

I use Invaluement as my primary list.

If it's there I block the message.

I had been adding scores to messages, but have gotten slammed with spam over the last week, especially, and decided to start outright blocking.

I reviewed logs from the start of year for Invaluement and found no false positives and changed the two lists I use from them from tag to block.

I would feel pretty comfortable setting Barracuda to block as well, but I haven't done a log review on those messages, so I'm still tagging on that list.

As always, your mileage may vary.

Cheers,
Jon

I'm quite fond of Invaluement: http://www.invaluement.com

The cost is very reasonable. The product has been nicely adapted to Kerio Connect; the vendor has specific instructions for Kerio Connect setup.

If you search these forums for invaluement, you'll find some related discussions.

Regards,
Lyle

We are using Kerio since 3 weeks.
The first days we had activated all standard BL in Kerio like jiunnyik in his first post.
But in the Log-Files we saw that some real mails where blocked or tagged as Spam.

Do you have good experience with the manitu BL ?
How long are you working with ?

Working with NiX Spam (manitu) BL for two years. No false positives (as far as i recognized). So this configuration works fine for me: (see attachment)

I am tagging at 4.0 and blocking at 7.5. I have several custom filters and other anti spam methods:

- reject connection on missing reversedns
- SPF check
- Greylisting
- Spam Repellent
- Block if sender domain cannot be found in DNS
- fail2ban

If you mean "is fail2ban support integrated in Kerio": no
If you mean "does fail2ban work with Kerio": yes

You will find a basic description in english at http://aplawrence.com/Kerio/fail2ban.html

I wrote a how-to in german (if anyone is interested: just use google)
