Tech specs mentions for mobile device support: "Apple iPad/iPad2/New iPad/iPad4 with iOS 6 to 8.3". I think that's not completely correct as iPad (first version) cannot be upgraded beyond IOS 5.1.1 (and 8.5.0 doesn't work with IOS 5.1.1).

Could someone clarify - because how I am reading this - 1st Gen iPads (any iOS device really) stuck below iOS6 won't be able to configure/connect via ActiveSync using Kerio Connect 8.5?

Bug using Active Sync for synchronising mailbox to Microsoft Outlook 2013:

When adding an account using Active Sync it only synchronises up to the date of 11. February 2015. This was not the case in 8.5RC1.

Testet on both Debian and CentOS servers, and clients running Windows 7,8.0,8.1, Server 2008R2 and Server 2012.
Tested on different accounts on different domains. The bug is consistent.

ActiveSync on iOS devices works flawless, I have not been able to test either on Windows Phone or Android as I currently has none available.

Hello,

Installed one trial instance to see features and performance of KC8.5.0.
In general this is a huge improvement. When I scan the host with SSL scanner (ssllabs.com) then I receive message:
This server supports weak Diffie-Hellman (DH) key exchange parameters. Grade capped to B.

Will it be fixed as well? I see that Poodle SSL3 fix is deployed already previously.

Thanks,
Mati

Yes, we improve Kerio Connect security continually. It prefers ECDHE and DH params with 1024bits and 2048bits. It is reasonably secure unless you have billions of dollars and 12 months of time.

I'm a little late to the party of testing AS on Office 2013 PC, but so far I am impressed with the performance over KOFF. Obviously since it is a native Outlook ost it will operate much better.

Few questions though pertaining to the limitations.

1) Will the folder creation / sharing be fixed, or is this a permanent limitation?
2) Whenever we close Outlook I get an this program didn't close properly message. Could be on my end, but curious if others see it.
3) I can not see public contacts. I can see all other public folders, just not contacts?
4) Lastly, out of office. I know people can use webmail, but not everyone will accept that answer. Will this be corrected as well in the future?

Thanks!

Well, answer to questions 1, 2, 3, and 4 is the same. Ask Microsoft. These are not Kerio limitations. Adding additional functionality can be done only via Kerio Outlook Connector and even this has limitations outlined by Outlook.

Hey there, yea i kinda rethought about my questions, and I understand the limitation of ActiveSync. Kind of the same as I cant really change / create from a iphone. Its in reality a mobile protocol on a desktop.

Thanks!

At least the checkbox "Use the integrated Sophos antivirus..." should be enabled. It seems that antivirus didn't start for some reason. Please can you enable antivirus messages in debug log, try to restart server and check the logs? (Debug, Warning, Error..)

I have multiple Kerio email addresses all accessed through Microsoft Outlook 2013. Prior to the upgrade I only received new email notifications on my main account but now I am receiving them on all accounts. I have tried to turn off the notifications for the other accounts by creating rules in Outlook but it didn't work.

I am also getting all the tasks from all email accounts in my task list and can't workout how to turn this off for all inboxes except my main one.

I am sure there is an easier solution but I am having spent ages trying to figure this out - could you please point me in the right direction.
Cheers!

You can't turn off new mail notification by any simple way. Outlook income rules are not working with Kerio Outlook Connector and Outlook displays new mail notifications for any account (previous behavior was probably caused by some incorrect configuration of accounts in profile, we fixed several issues affecting behavior of multi-account profiles).

Same problem with To-do list. Outlook is merging to-do lists of all accounts in the view and I don't know how to specify just some of them.

Do you really need the multi-account profile? If you just need to see messages from "secondary" accounts, it would be sufficient to map shared mailboxes. You don't see new mail notifications from shared mailboxs nor tasks in to-do list.

That is an annoying limitation.

I have to use multiple accounts as I have to monitor support and info email inboxes, along with several others in our company. As several people need to be in the inbox and follow the same procedure for answering emails I don't think the mapping would work.

Why it shouldn't work? Any number of users can attach single mailbox as shared folders - it is just the matter of setting access rights to them. Only limitation is that you can't send emails as the user you are attached to (however you can use delegation if you want to sent message in behalf of attached account).
