Sent items not going into Sent Items folder [message #115775] Thu, 28 August 2014 22:43 Go to next message

Problem Description:

Emails sent from Outlook 2010 with KOFF 8.3.2 do not show up in the Sent Items folder, either in Outlook or the Kerio Client/WebMail. In fact the sent emails are not to be found anywhere in the sender's mailbox. They seem to just disappear.

However, the messages are actually being sent -- the Kerio mail log file shows the message being sent (to another Kerio recipient in the same domain) and delivered, and the recipient confirms receiving the message.

Has anyone seen this behavior? Any idea what's going on?

This problem exists, if KOFF profile (account) is not primary, ie. there exists another POP3/IMAP primary account (PST). The message is correctly sent, but is saved to the Sent Items of primary account.

It will be fixed in Kerio Connect 8.4.0

Thanks, but that situation does not exist in this case. There is only one account set up in Outlook, which is the KOFF account.

One thing I can add to the problem description, is that it most often occurs when forwarding a message. The forwarded message is sent, and the recipient confirms receiving it. But it does not show up in the sender's Sent Items folder, or anywhere in the sender's mailbox.

For testing purposes, have you tried setting up the same account on another and test if you can see the same issue? Which version of Kerio Connect are you using?
