I was wondering if I switch on the item clear out, does it affect public folders and calenders as well?

Is it possible to delete before a date, via the webmail? Some of our users aren't using Outlook, so I'd like to reduce quotas, because searching can sometimes take a bit of time. When users have over 10gig of emails, and then complain that the search isn't immediate, it can be a bit frustrating.

Don't think webmail has this functionality.

The manual you referenced is for Connect 7.4, is there any more current administration guide, preferably for 8.3.1, available?

Hi Christian,

We do not have a manual any longer for the newer version of Kerio Connect. However we do have a KB article for 'Item Clear Out' in the newer versions of Kerio:

http://kb.kerio.com/1179

In regards to your question 'Item Clear Out' is more for users than the public folders and to the best of my knowledge they are not affected. Have a read through the article and I think you find it helpful.

All the best,
Vicky
