We are finding that the kids are accessing pictures they shouldn't via Google Images

go to Google.co.uk ; select the Images tab and type w4b into the search bar.

I have blocked direct access to images.google.co.uk but this is bypassed.

Did some test, don't think Control can filter that as yet.

Came across this safesearch information page
https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/186669?hl=en-GB

Appending &safe=active at the end of the URL on the router/proxy forces safesearch to be on.

Have made a request (For the sack of the next generation) to add this feature in future versions of Kerio Control.

Did you get any feedback on this?

We need to setup Kerio Control for a Public hotspot and blocking such images is a must.

Your biggest challenge is blocking HTTPS access to google.com. They want to redirect you to HTTPS. With HTTPS, you will be very limited in how you can filter content.

Essentially, you'll likely just have to shutdown Google access. Or, redirect all Google traffic to a search engine you can control.

Is there an update on this? When this could possibly be implemented?

The safe search of Google is being used by several other filter vendors including Barracuda.
