Here no problems with Nokia 630 (WP8.1). Calendar, sub-directories and contacts sync!
Can you please include a screenshot of sub-directories for contacts to be working.
As I got so many emails from people from various forums with the question if I already got a solution for this that I can't answer them all anymore (must be several hundreds already)
that it's hard to believe to me, that it doesn't work for so many people except for 1 person posting that it works for him.
Not saying it doesn't, but it's hard to believe.. A screenshot would convince me!
And yes, the contacts in your PRIVATE folder synchronize.. I don't mean those!
I assume, you look wrong? I found out a setting that multiple calendars work on the Windows Phone. Some other user who has the same problem as me pointed that out.
But thus far, hundreds of people can't synchronize the sub-folders of the contacts.
I also already got contact with MS support, who claim that it's true, and sub-folders for contacts doesn't work, and that this is intentionally by MS.
Obviously, MS only supports EAS and not EWS.. And EAS can't synchronize the sub-folders.
So you saying that it does work on your phone, where hundreds of people say it doesn't and MS Support confirming that this is by design.. versus you saying: it does work..
Like I said before: "Hard to believe"

I don't use subdirectories for my contacts. I have sub-folders for my email and several calendars and they sync ok.
