Hi,
I'm having a problem with Kerio Connect 7.3.2.
When setting up a mail filter that replies to the sender or using the out-of-office function, they work fine for users on the Kerio server but not for external e-mail addresses. We don't have a problem sending and receiving e-mail from external addresses - it's just the automatic reply functionality that is affected.
If I send an e-mail from an external mail service such as gmail, it shows in the log as being received and replied to, but the reply is never received on the gmail account.
It appears that the reply is being sent form postmaster<_at_>localhost, not sure but I think that this might have something to do with it.
Here's the log, parts highlighted in green have been changed for privacy reasons, everything else is simply cut+pasted from the log.
[15/Jan/2013 14:24:36] Recv: Queue-ID: 50f566a4-00004bd8, Service: SMTP, From: <someaddress@gmail.com>, To: <someuser<_at_>mydomain.com>, Size: 2847, Sender-Host: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
[15/Jan/2013 14:24:36] Recv: Queue-ID: 50f566a4-00004bd9, Service: Sieve, From: <postmaster@localhost>, To: <someaddress@gmail.com>, Size: 551, Report: autoreply, User: someuser<_at_>mydomain.com
[15/Jan/2013 14:24:37] Sent: Queue-ID: 50f566a4-00004bd8, Recipient: <someuser<_at_>mydomain.com>, Result: delivered, Status: 2.0.0
[15/Jan/2013 14:24:39] Sent: Queue-ID: 50f566a4-00004bd9, Recipient: <someaddress<_at_>gmail.com>, Result: relayed, Status: 2.0.0
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks

I set an out of the office message for one of the users. no reply for the sender.

Same problem with version 8.3.2 (3100) on linux !!!
Check your filesystem. Make sure that other processes don't touch Kerio Connect files. Use only local filesystem (ext2, ext3 etc.).
Thks for your reply,
It's a VM deployed via Kerio OVF

Hi,
We've just upgraded to 8.3.2 today and I've checked that auto-reply and out of office are working correctly and they are.
The issue I was having was fixed in an earlier version of 8.x but I'm not sure which I'm afraid.
EDIT It looks like it might have been v8.2 looking at the release notes.

PS, we are also running on Linux. It's a CentOS 5 VM originally provided by Kerio. (We will be upgrading it at some point.)E
