In the new 8.0 client at the shared folder section all folders and their subfolders are listet "straight", (left aligned). So you are not able to see which is a "master" and which are his subfolders.

Any idea?
Thanks!

I believe you mean the 8.0 webmail? The subfolders should be indented, mind showing a picture of the folders?

This is a capture from a Connect 8.0 Webmail folder tree.

My advise is to reinstall Kerio Connect, it might be a corrupted installation.

And please test with another kind of browser.

I can duplicate this issue.
I suspect mlee (Kerio) did not actually understand the first post entirely.

SHARED FOLDERS do not indent, for the user to whom they are shared, in webmail 8.

For the person who shares the folders webmail indents just fine, and I suspect that is what mlee posted.

See the attached screencap for a side by side view of the shared vs sharing folders. I tried both Firefox and IE (newest versions), and they looked identical.

Mid 2015: Quit Kerio and moved to Exchange 2013 and Meraki.
Kerio Control 8.4.0--Used since it was WinRoute, many years ago
Kerio Connect 8.4.0 on Ubuntu. Bought Connect just in time for the switch to NO SUPPORT(aka pay for support). Not. Happy.

I have same problems
People subscribing to shared folders can't see the original folder' tree

Sample:
Dupont share this tree: Projects, Projects/new, Projects/closed
Burks subscribe to this 3 folders but he'll not see the original folder's tree but closed, new, Projects (in alphabetical order)

It's a very big bug for us as we share huge folder's tree

I experienced the same feature loss ...

Here is some kind of official reply to my bug report:

Quote:
Hi Rolf,

Unfortunately this is by design. If you wish for the folders to be nested in the new WebMail Client you will need to use the 'Feedback' button in webmail to list it as a feature request. I will close this ticket now because this not a bug.

The discussed issue unfortunately isn“t fixed in Release 8.0.1.

So we only use the former web client or outlook. Outlook (2010) is sometimes slow, but it works.

Did you try to recreate the structure by hand, via drag and drop?

I've also found if you share a sub-folder only and not the parent. The person who you shared it with cannot subscribe to it.

This works fine in the old WebMail.

Yes, it still exists in 8.2.2 and it is a real pain in the belly ...
It is a real problem if you have shared folders with subfolders in it that have the same name e.g.:
Service -> done (done is subfolder of folder Service ...)
Engineer -> done

becomes something like:
Service
Engineer
done
done

This is a real bug, not a wannabee feature ... Smile
