I've done some troubleshooting and this is reproducible (at least in my environment).
Outlook 2011 (14.1.4)
OSX 10.7.3
Attaching small PDF's works fine.
Attach a larger PDF (roughly 100k or above) and a second "broken" file gets added in to the email (not visible until received on the other end.
it appears to be PDF only.
any else experienced this?

i will open a ticket.
However, I am not sure if this is a "bug" or a non-kerio issue. This means, I'm not sure if I am going to be billed for opening a support ticket.
Not to hijack my own thread, but the new support system creates a great deal of uncertainty in the entire Kerio system.
I do believe Kerio's tech support tickets are going to drop tremendously.

I'm going on the theory of the Mac Outlook attaching the resource fork and the data fork separately (as two attachments).
As per Kerio's suggestion, i have spoken with my reseller to try to resolve the issue but have had very little luck with that route.

Here's a crappy workaround...
since the issue is the outlook for mac 2011 exchange connector attaching the resource fork and the data fork for attachments, i'm avoiding the issue.
i created a second account in Outlook as a basic mail account (IMAP). set all info to the same (but logs in to an empty mailbox). when the user creates an email that they suspect will create broken attachments (or they will do this for all until a fix is fixed), they hit the dropdown on the mail message to send as the "Safe Send Account". The SMTP send will send the message cleanly.

Final update.
After weeks of waiting, Kerio finally came back and said "it's an Outlook problem NOT a Kerio problem".
I disagree as this doesn't happen with Exchange systems.
I guess they get final say on whether something is a bug or a feature.

I'm the admin at a company with 30 employees running macs and we've been seeing this as long as we've been using Office 2011 for Mac. It was never a problem earlier.
I'm seeing the exact same behaviour with PDFs.
It's sad that this has stranded as a game of hot potato between MS and Kerio...
I've notified our hosting supplier and hope that they can move this up the ranks a bit.
As the OP this seems to me like a Kerio problem.

We do have exactly the same issue. This appears to be almost regularly and it's pretty annoying. My clients (pc and mac users) always complain about that they are unable to the second file.
