Dear Group,
Looked at eM Client the other day and was somewhat able to get it to engage with Kerio Connect via IMAP interface after quite a few adjustments and fine tuning. The interface seems like a suitable replacement for Outlook and was wondering if anyone else has installed it and got it to work smoothly. The cost is certainly less than M$ running about $50 a license.
Was also wondering if Kerio might write a Connector for it?

Me and my colleagues would also like to see a Kerio Connect(or) for eM Client. eM Client also has a chat feature that could be used with Kerio Connect. I think it can also be made much more efficiënt than the Outlook Offline Connector if you could work together. eM Client s.r.o. is also a Czech company, maybe you could just call them...

eM Client is very much a viable OutLook relacement for many people. It would be nice if eM Client had a pre-defined connection wizard for Kerio similar to the ones for google, outlook.com, etc, but because it has support for cldav and carddav, the integration is not hard.
I presume you already have the IMAP account set up. Now add a CardDAV account, and point it to mail.yourdoamin.com/carddav. http://kb.kerio.com/1327 for more info

You can try Exchange type of account in eM Client, it uses EWS protocol. Currently there should be no big issues, despite the support is not official. We are aware of some issues with recurrent events, but the same problems occur when we tested it with Exchange 2010. We are in contact with eM Client developers.

The issue I had with EWS and eMClient was that is was ridiculously slow. I don't know if the issue was with the client or Kerio. I don't investigate much, as it was just a proof of concept test for me. I swiftly changed back to IMAP/CalDAV
