Is there a way to limit the filter for file attachments to the incoming mails? It should be possible to send an .xls or .doc, for example, but not to receive it.
Or Is it possible to enable the sending of file attachments to certain mail addresses. Whitelisting for attachments to special mailadresses?

Hi tmschmidt, thanks for your post! You can indeed filter attachments. The filter rules will apply globally, for all domain and in both directions (incoming and outgoing emails). Currently there's no way to make exceptions, however, you can set up an address to receive all blocked attachments. You can find all this information plus detailed instructions in our article Filtering Email Attachments in Kerio Connect.

Hello.
That doesn't help me. There should be a separation between incoming and outgoing. A folder in which the attachments end up does not help us with outgoing mails.
We hope for a solution soon to make our system secure.

At the top of the message list, you'll see a box that says Search Current Mailbox. Click to place your cursor in that box, type hasattachments:yes, and then click Enter

Yes, limiting the filter for file attachments to incoming mail only or enabling sending file attachments to specific email addresses is possible.

Sorry, but I don't understand where I'm supposed to do this and what it does.

Sorry, but I can't find a way to limit this to incoming mail only, or to allow only certain email addresses.

Content-Disposition is a better and more direct way to have control of what your filter should do, so your last comment/approach is already in a good direction.

Alternatively, you could have every single attachment archived, regardless of the extension of the attachment itself.

Hello, unfortunately I still can't get to grips with the settings. Maybe someone can help again.
Example: I would like to block all .docx attachments in general. This could be done via the attachment filter. But now I want to allow .docx from a specific address. How can I set this in the message filter?
