Since updating to Kerio 10 we have problems with high CPU Usage on a Terminalserver (Win Server 2019) caused by the process searchd.exe from the Kerio Offline Connector.
Also each Kerio Outlook Connector process causes about 5% CPU Usage permanently.
Beta patch (10.0.6998) is already installed...
We hope GFI will fix the problem soon!

hello,
the latest patch (10.0.6998) of the KOFF Connector is working well for me.
the only thing: the startup-windows-notification message "search index ready" is disturbing.
Since this patch (installed on 26.1.2023) there was no rebuild on startup,
it was always starting within secondy.
My mailbox is also not that small, it has 31,4GB / 152303 elements.
would be great is this
1) does not appear at all
2) if is appears, then is should disappear by itself within a short time.
does GFI already know about this?
if not, where i can tell this GFI?

since the new version, when switching in outlook to an other folder (e.g. deleted items) it takes ~5 minutes until you can continue.
the cursor is marking the first line (first email) but after that outlooks tells "no responce" in the headline and is hanging.
also killing outlook and try again does not help, there is the same issue.
but if once wait this ~5minutes there is further problem, from this time forward it working again if you switch the outlook folder.
but maybe 2 days later there is the same issue again.
do you already know about this issue?

Installed Kerio Connect 10.0 patch1, Build 7052 on Windows Server 2016 Remote Desktop Services. After emptying the Cache in the Kerio Outlook Connector, it appears you must logoff before resyncing or this message appears:
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. 0x8004010f: MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND
The must be done for each user on the Remote Desktop Services Server.

Kerio Connect 10.0 patch1, Build 7052 on Windows, KOFF Windows 10
That's not really running smoothly yet. Sometimes Outlook hangs when loading the profile and only shows the splash screen. It must then be terminated via the task manager. In the task manager you see a KOFF task that hangs. This must also be closed before Outlook can be opened again. This already happened in V10.0 on a terminal server. In this case no user can start Outlook before the affected KOFF process of the user is deleted. One KOFF user process stop all other KOFF/Outlook on this server. This is the worst case.
Another thing is the constant repeating message in the Windows notification when objects are syncronized. If you rebuild the cache, this becomes very annoying. The best thing to do is to disable the message completely.
I can only test locally at the moment because I don't have a terminal server available. If I delete the cache completely and rebuild it, the CPU load is very high. I have 3 KOFF mailboxes in my Outlook profile and my computer then runs at 100% load for a longer time during the syncronization. This is bad for a terminal server when 10 people log in and try to start Outlook. There is an urgent need for improvement here.
The emoticon problem also still exists unchanged. If you use HTML for an e-mail in Outlook and place an emoticon at the end of a line, the rest of the text is displayed illegibly in Chinese characters to the recipient. This is a bug that has existed for a very long time and is very annoying to my customers.
There is still a lot to do, the V10 is not yet ready to be rolled out to the customer.
Regards
Andreas

Patch releases are usually put out pretty quick. It has been over three months now. This isn't looking good. Must have found more problems in the Beta releases.
